Wine as "philosophy of life"…

This is the principle according which our family cultivates their 2,5-hectare vineyard estates in Prissiano, around Castle Wehrburg, on one of the most beautiful plateaux at 500m above sea level.

Wines of Castle Wehrburg’s vineyard reflect the peculiarity of their particular region: location, vine’s characteristics, gournd and mild climate.

The grape varieties such as Sauvignon blanc and Weißburgunder grown by our family are distinctive of this region as the Venatsch, the Blauburgunder and the Zweigelt.

With great care, experience and know-how the high-quality grapes are turned into authentic wines with typical character and distinctive taste. All this with particular focus on traditional grape varieties combined with modern and ecological techniques in the wine cellar and on very high standards.
